Finding your tribe.
It is so important for us to find our tribe, even if you're not a people person. Click here to read more... Photo Credit: Jon Tyson - Unsplash

Anyone will tell you that life is so much richer when you have found your tribe. These are the people that get you. They are not necessarily blood related but are family that we have chosen for ourselves, that enrich our life exponentially and vice versa.
These people will be there for you in light and dark times. Not only are they here to support you but they act as a mirror to let you see who you really are through the perceptions of someone external to yourself. Sometimes who we think we show to the outer world and what others actually see is very different. Your tribe lets you see that so you can make changes if what you see is not to your liking, and they let you make these changes in a safe, and supportive place.
It is believed that the people in your tribe have soul contracts with you. These are contracts made before we come to Earth that help us fulfil some part of our journey. They are a sacred connection that may play out complications that have arisen from a previous incarnation that needs to be healed in this lifetime, so don't think that someone is not part of your tribe because they rub you the wrong way. Everyone is in our life on purpose.
Mostly what we get from our tribe is loving support, laughter, and a deepened bond that can help raise our vibration and put us in touch with Source, allowing us to ride the wave of flow and up our manifesting abilities. However, sometimes what we really need is for our tribe to ground us to this Earth so that we can complete our journey. This may involve telling us some home truths that we don't want to hear (don't shoot the messenger), but that can be transformational to our journey.
It is important to remember that these tribes are places of flow - give and take. Sometimes it is your turn to be supported and, sometimes it is your turn to be supportive. There is a lesson to be learned from both positions, and that is, to hold truth without malice and always be there for the people that have been there for you, plus whatever personal lessons you have going on.
In this day and age I think it can be harder to find your tribe. If you look around social media, there are lots of memberships and subscriptions that offer you the support that a tribe can give you. Don't get me wrong, these groups are great, especially if you live somewhere, where there are not many people like you (the same outlook on life or interests). However, there is nothing like a face-to-face conversation, or an 11-second hug from someone who gets where you're coming from or what you're going through. As much as we have tried, social media can never replace human contact. I encourage you to look for your tribe closer to home (if you can), to get back that experience of closeness that has been missing from our lives for so long. Your life will be so much more prosperous for it. I can guarantee it, even when you're going through tough times.
Until next time...
