Reiki is an energetic, hands-on healing practice where the Practitioner acts as a conduit for universal energy. Reiki works in conjunction with the chakra system, your meridians, your aura, and subtle energetic bodies. It works to balance out imbalances within your energetic bodies thus creating a sense of relaxation, rejuvenation and all over wellbeing. As the imbalances are healed you may find that some of your physical ailments subside.
Please note that before a Reiki session you cannot have drunk alcohol or taken "party" drugs for at least 12 hours beforehand, preferably longer. You will need to drink plenty of water before and after your session and for a couple of days afterwards you may feel like you're coming down with a slight cold as your body releases any toxic energy.
Sessions can go up to one and a half hours, depending on what I find when I start the session, so please allow for this when you book your appointment.
You will be required to fill out some forms concerning your medical history so I can get a whole picture of your health and wellbeing. We will do this in your first Reiki session, so your first Reiki session will run longer than an hour.
Please do not drink alcohol or take "party" drugs for at least 12 hours before your appointment. I may refuse to treat you if I can see evidence of this before the session starts. You will be able to reschedule but you may be charged a cancellation fee.
